| This home
had both wood windows and aluminum windows in brick
openings. As you can see there is a different application
at work in each unit. The wood unit is still the same
wood as was in the opening alowing the reuse of the
interior trims and mouldings. For many this is an
important consideration. The exterior wood could be
trim-packed (that is, covered with a vinyl coated
aluminum wrapping) to provide a maintenence free exterior.
Trim-pack costs a bit more than professional painting,
but is a one time solution to never painting again.
