Cheap windows are what we get when we look for replacement window costs alone. The real value is in longevity of product and energy effeciency. For many manufacturers I can improve the performance by removing the steel or aluminum reinforcements that go into the lift rails and the locking rails of the replacement window. The preparation includes buffing, priming and painting the window and stops and is warrantied for 15 years as to the exterior finish.
