The
Dyer Home was one of my favorites for 2003.
Convert
a bay to a bow unit with new Hardi-Plank Roof System
and full trim pack. The customer just hated that old
roof design. We take incredible joy and pride in making
your openings take just this kind of amazing conversion.
I made the columns somewhat wide and two tiered to
help offset and cover the brick lines on the sides
(it was a bad original cut in or bad measure). Look
closely and you'll see the grout lines on the brick
are mulitcolored. Its very hard to match mortar color
when making openings smaller.
The
before shot here is the finished product of some contractor
at some point in time in the past, we know not who.
The previous homeowner probably paid at least as much
to do it poorly as was paid the second time to do
it correctly, I see that alot.
